Interior design services are available for clientele requiring professional assitance. Tokoro
provides preliminary sketches and finish samples to assure our clients that their personal style
is rich and individual in character. Product scale, design and floor plans may all be arranged with
the professional staff at Tokoro.
Armoires, dining and occasional chairs, hand-wrought iron bedroom ensembles, lodgepole furniture, urn lamps,
parchment paper case goods - each piece may be customized to suit your specific needs at Tokoro.

Custom Cabinetry
All cabinetry manufactured and designed by Tokoro, Inc. is individually built in alder hard wood and then hand finished. Ten premium finishes are available to include gesso/lacquer crackles or distressed stains. Cost is same for all. Bar-top lacquer seals the many separate coats indicative of a single finish to provide a durable, long-lasting patina. The depth evident in the finishes is above-and-beyond the expectations of most clientele. Please specify either matte or semi-gloss. All cabinetry groups have full extension metal glides and hinges. Pocket door mechanisms are also of exceptional quality, smoothly sliding when you withdraw the doors from the cabinet. Hand Forged Iron
Tokoro has designed a wonderfully classic and stable "Hand Forged Iron Collection." All pieces are manufactured individually to order. Clients have the option to specify four exceptional textured hand finishes. These finishes have layers of colorations to achieve a truly incredible and durable patina. Model Viewing
This area of the website allows you to navigate through our products based upon model
specification rather than that of design groupings. If you are interested in a certain model within a design group but do
not see it listed, Tokoro will still be able to design and manufacture that for you, just contact us if that is the case.

Custom Upholstery
Tokoro has been manufacturing its entire Upholstery Collection to each individual order since 1977. This allows you to specify all particulars relative to dimensions, fill and details that meets your design requirements. The list costs noted on our specifications page DO NOT include fabric which is usually provided by the client. All construction is of superior quality, utilizing premium kiln dried hard wood alder where corners are double blocked and anchored with steel shanks. The metal suspension springs are premium, enhancing further the quality and "sit" of our upholstered pieces. This collection -- as are most of our products -- is built by professionals in America from start to finish.

Cabrera Collection
Each lamp, sconce and vase in the "Cabrera Collection" is as unique as it is spectacular. All the pieces are individually hand finished and "aged" to provide a patina that is truly one-of-a-kind.. The finishes are layered by hand glaze-upon-glaze and then further accented with powdered stone, tiles, coins, leather strapping or rope. Even though a pair of lamps is never identical, they are always compatible as a set. The slight differences indicative of hand finishes exemplify the inherent beauty of all "Cabrera" pieces. Parchment or linen lamp shades are proportioned to the dimension of each base as a three-way switch allows you to illuminate from soft light to bright. On-off switches are installed on the line cord of the table lamps for further ease of operation.

Villa Lighting
Tokoro Villa Lighting outdoor fixtures are manufactured individually in solid brass in the United States. There are four style selections available in each design with four different dimensions for each. These include hanging lamps, column mounted lanterns, wall flush fixtures and lanterns with a bracket. Four finishes and four types of glass panes are available to further customize the fixture to your specifications. This outdoor collection is electrically wired in accordance with Underwriter Laboratory requirements as approved for wet locations. Candelabra sockets are standard unless otherwise advised. These lanterns and sconces offer fabulous alternatives for a myriad of residential or commercial applications.

Klinsky Pottery
Steve Klinsky has an "eye" for proportion, scale and glazing that is truly exceptional. Each urn is a statement of refined and dramatic elegance. All his pieces are hand-thrown, meticulously hand finished in a spectacular patina, signed and cautiously fired to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. As a piece increases in dimensions, it is geometrically more difficult to maintain its symmetry during fabrication. Yet Steve provides urns that are of substantial stature with exquisite balance, design and form. Every urn is a work of art hat any discerning individual would be proud to add to a collection. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
