Furniture orders remained steady even in June compared to June 2005, according to the Furniture Insights industry report issued by BDO Siedman. 

In June 2006, $2.32 billion in residential furniture was prepared, according to the report. During the same month in 2005, $2.33 billion of furniture was ordered. 

The furniture industry is also on speed for the first six months of the year. Through June, $13.38 billion in furniture had been ordered, up somewhat from $13.36 billion over the first six months of 2005.
