Residents who want to lift up some free furniture or could contribute some they don’t need could drop in on a special event in Twickenham later this month. 

Richmond upon Thames Council’s recycling team is hosting the borough’s as the first Give and Take Day, which would be held at All Hallow’s Parish Church Hall on September 16. 

Richmond residents would get the chance to contribute unwanted home and garden items and pick up free goods that are on offer. You do not have to contribute anything to take others away and only items which are in good condition would be accepted while electrical goods would be tested to make sure they are safe.
