The following advice for you when planning outdoor lighting:
Choose luminescent lights over halogen. While halogens do produce a lot of light, they could burn hot and could also distort the color of plants, flowers and decor.Start with lighting the main “living space” - frequently a deck or patio - of your outdoor environment. You desire to light it well enough to be secure, yet creatively to create a specific atmosphere,
Outdoor cooking areas need ample light, and fixtures that shine light down onto the cooking area are best.
For paths, walkways, pools or water features, fixtures must pour light down onto the walking area, rather than reflect up into the eyes. Garden lanterns are great for this purpose.
Up lighting (positioning fixtures on the ground and directing them upward) and face lighting (placing the light source in front of an object) are the most well-liked ways to draw attention to the front of your house or a gorgeous tree, trellis or gazebo.

For the first time, Brazilian companies displayed their furniture at the latest July edition of the Las Vegas Market. Sixteen companies from Brazil shared a 6,900 square feet space in the Las Vegas Convention Center from July 25th to 28th. The participation was made probable due to a project called Brazilian Furniture, co-sponsored by APEX-Brazil (Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and ABIMAD.
Eight members of the Brazilian Contemporary Furniture & Home Décor Manufacturers Association – ABIMAD exhibited in Las Vegas at the Brazilian Furniture Showroom.
This edition of Las Vegas Market had nearly 1,500 exhibitors moving all furniture lines. According to Mr. Tiago Lecey, ABIMAD’s Foreign Trade Analyst, the Brazilian contribution in the fair was a success even before the market opening since the show’s website helped with the booking of meetings among exhibitors and potential buyers. “The whole structure was great, we’ve got excellent traffic in the showroom and the excellent lighting in the Brazilian space helped us to show the colors and the beauty of Brazilian products”, he said.
Taking small steps to suitably maintain your outdoor furniture would help prolong its life and allow you to enjoy it year after year. Officials at Hampton Bay, a line of furniture from Home Depot, offer tips on cleaning, defensive and maintaining:
• Keep it simple. For minimum maintenance, decide furniture made of easy-to-clean materials. Wrought iron and aluminum are good quality choices.
• Go light. Pastels and light colors tend to uphold their color over time better than darker shades. If your furniture is not secluded by a roof or awning, choose light-colored fabric to diminish fading.
• Prevent stains. Keep some distance among your furniture and surrounding foliage and trees.
• Clean carefully. Use a pressure washer (keep the setting low) to get rid of caked-on dirt on PVC or wrought-iron furniture; a damp cloth to clean off legs and bases of metal chairs and tables; and a soft brush, with a blend of mild soap and warm water, to clean cushions and seating areas.

The ordinance will outlaw dumping furniture and other stuff on the streets, curbs, sidewalks and front yards of lots in the city. If any such stuff is left in place for 48 hour, the city would automatically be authorized to pick up the debris and charge the owners or occupants of the property trash carrying fees. However, this does not necessarily mean that sanitation workers would take away the debris.
