Light-sensitive device used to run fixtures according to available daylight. They are used in solar lighting and also to turn outdoor or security lights on and off at dusk and dawn.
Pharmacy Lamps:
Pharmacy lamps swivel for direct lighting for reading or crafting and could be adjusted to a comfortable height to perform tasks. The shades are normally tent or shell style.
PL Lamp:
A nickname for a twin tube fluorescent lamp coined by Philips Lighting, a very large manufacturer of lamps.
Portable Lamp:
A table lamp, floor lamp, pharmacy lamp, and reading lamp which could be easily moved and plugged into a receptacle; officially called portable luminaries.
